“All My Mothers” -The Story of Yehudith Kleinman

“Whoever saves one life, saves the the world entire.” Hebrew Talmud When I was 40 years old, director of the International Medical Missionary Training at Herghelia, Romania, my family came from Slovakia to celebrate my birthday. My mom, my Catholic godmother (her sister), my sons Filip and Adam, my brother Piťo and his wife Monika. During this joyous occasion for the first time in my life I heard a special story about my grandpa. I heard often about him, what a special man he was. Everyone in our Podunajské Biskupice village loved him, including gypsies. When the rooster would kill itself [...]

Gen 1 : 1 in John 1 : 1 and Debrah

It is Sabbath, July 11, 2015. Early morning in our little church a young lady comes to the pulpit to share her testimonies how God was using her in sharing the books about Jesus. When I heard her name, Debrah, I was wondering if she knows what it means. Inspired by hearing this name I decided to check the Bible with Strong’s Dictionary in my phone. What a special Sabbath blessing from our heavenly Father it turned out to be for me! He gave me a new revelation and it is so precious that I would like to share it [...]

Tsadi – The Desire of Ages

Tsadi, the very last picture-letter in our Genesis 1:1 discovery, is very rich in meaning. Some translate it as a fish-hook, others as a desire. This picture is taken from a person in a kind of “fetus” position meaning to express some need, or some desire. Another description is that it is a man waiting in ambush, in concealed position as a hunter. When such desire is Christ-centered everything is beautiful. Like a child attached to its parent, or wife to her house-band. But in negative context such desire can be as a hook to very damaging things like drugs, [...]

The Prodigal Son

I was amazed when I discovered how the very first picture-word of the Bible contains one of the most tender parable JESUS ever shared with us. Which one do you thing it is? There might be other ones personally dear to you, but most people would agree that it is the parable about the prodigal son. Here the love of GOD is revealed the outstanding way! And remember: ONLY BY CONTINUAL BEHOLDING THIS MATCHLESS LOVE WE WILL BE CHANGED INTO THE SAME IMAGE AND BE LIKE HIM. Christ came to REVEAL GOD's character to us that by beholding Him He [...]

Aleph-Tav – Self-denying Servant

And I – Aleph-Tav, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Me. (Jn 12:32 Murdock) But to Paul the cross was the one object of supreme interest! Ever since he had been arrested in his career of persecution against the followers of the crucified Nazarene he had never ceased to glory in the cross. At that time there had been given him a revelation of the infinite love of God, as revealed in the death of Christ; and a marvelous transformation had been wrought in his life, bringing all his plans and purposes into [...]

Genesis 1:1 Rediscovered Through the Pictures

Dear Children, Why do I write to adults while greeting you as children? First, we are all children of GOD. In one of our character building lessons you can read, “Jesus doesn’t have grandchildren. He only has sons and daughters.” Second, we need to have the attitude of a teachable child (Matthew 18:3). Children enjoy hearing their favorite stories over and over again and they remember them easily when they can see also some pictures—don’t you? […]
